Responsibilities:
- Promote Safety culture where all personnel have understanding of Operations Safety Plan and operate rigorously in accordance with it.

- Ensure implementation of Offshore Safety Management System.

- Responsible for command and control of the onboard Emergency Response organization in the event of an emergency.

- Ensure strict implementation of the Permit to Work System (PTW).

- Ensure that regular Emergency Response drills and exercises are carried out in compliance with regulations.

- Facilitate constructive working relationships with all personnel, encouraging open communication, both vertically and laterally.

- Ensure that production, maintenance and Health, Safety and Environmental targets are achieved through close regular monitoring.

- Input to and monitoring of Health, Safety and Environment yearly performance targets.

- Monitor against these targets and propose actions to achieve this.
